Rum River

Does anybody here hunt ducks along the Rum River? I am certainly not looking for hot spots but more general information. Is it worth it? Is it possible to find spots away from houses and people or is it too busy? Are most of the backwaters private land?

Any help or advice you can give is greatly appreciated.

My nephew who lives in Cambridge called me this AM before he left for school to tell me he just dumped to nice woody drakes on the river.I used to hunt it a lot about 15+yrs ago and always had luck.

I would say it's worth a shot.
