Rabbits

I will be replanting cucumbers soon due to rabbits in the area. I have not had problems with them in the past but we had flowers planted in the garden to supposedly attract good bugs and keep away bad ones. Could the flowers have kept the rabbits away as well. Any other ideas for dealing with them in a development where my 22 isn't a good idea and a fence may get annoying. By the way our gardens are raised 4'x 8' gardens.

it is possible you did have flowers that deterred them from coming in. for example some annuals and perennial that are known to keep rabbits out are; Marigolds and Dusty Miller, perennial like Bee Balm, Black Eye Susan, butterfly bush and catmint as well. and if you planted any herbs in your garden before they usually are not liked by rabbits and they will keep away from them as well. There are deterrent spray's you can use as well that will keep them away which you can by at any nursery or hardware store.
