Pinusbanksiana
I bought a 1950s era 17 foot grumman canoe last summer and didn't realize it has a mid rib that is cracked right in the center as it passes over the keel on the inside. Does anybody have a decent fix for this rib? Seems like aluminum welding would work but I am not so sure it would hold over time.
MNHunter65
I have one that was hit with a snow plow about 25 years ago. Ripped a 10" hole right in the side. We had it welded and it has held up well. I wouldn't be afraid to get it done.
