brannigan30
Hi all i just acquired a 60 hp Merc tiller and it has been sitting in my garage since saturday. I noticed that it is leaking oil from the upper portion of the power trim motor. does anyone have any ideas of what may have failed and or how to fix this problem... or would you just recommend i just take it in? my4x4yj
If you are mechanically inclined and have quality tools, there is a seal kit that can be put into the cylinder that should fix it, it will be messy dealing with the oil currently in the system and you will need something substantial to support the motor in a raised position so you can get at it.
