ND Brood count surveys are just released by the US Fish and wildlife Service showing a 40% decline in brood coounts over last year. The counts are comparable to the 1995-1996 counts. ND will have a greatly reduced Fall flight over last year.

In speaking with farmers the last week many say there just aren't the ducks arouond like last year and Honkers are showing a decline also probably due to farmers shooting them on the nests again this Spring.
