Surf rod help

Looking to replace my favorite sturgeon rod that i broke the rod tip when my PB sturgeon went under the boat last fall.

Rod was a Penn captiva cv290mh length 9 ft 12-25 lb lure wt 1-3 oz

Can you suggest a comparable rod. Loved the length and feel of that rod. Can't seem to find it online and can't find anything similar in any stores around here. I got that rod at the Berkley outlet store a few years ago.

You might check the site for bass pro under fishing rods, saltwater, surf casting (or inshore casting). They have a number of such rods including 3 models from Penn, in a variety of price ranges.

Truth, if the rod is a spinning rod, I have one in my shop right now. Matching model numbers but is a 2 piece and still has plastic on the handle.

I have no idea what they sell for so shoot me an offer.

I ended up getting a custom st Croix 10' mh.

Can't wait to use it. Paid a whopping $50 as my neighbor apparently spends his winters building st Croix rod.
