Having Blanks Made

Does anyone know how to go about getting a manufacturer to make an ice rod blank for me to my specs? What would a minimum order have to be? What kind of dollar amount am I looking at? I've done many searches and talked to a few people in the business, but haven't had much luck. Thanks.

I am thinking you would be in for some serious cost or a huge $ number to have the create an entire blank to your specs. I would try calling an actual manufacturer. I am sure a web search would bring up some contact info.

I have looked intot his extensively and its roughly 2-3 hundred to get started, thats with a 100 blank minimum. Took me a long time to find the contacts I have so im not ready to share just yet. google, and talk to rod builders and you should find some companies

2-3 hundred is very reasonable to get started in anything.

I'm sure that might be the cost per blank and with 100 minimum you better know what you want.

I can tell you right now, the companies selling ice blanks for over 20 bucks a pop are robbing people blind. Im mailing off samples in a few weeks for next weeks run. between myself and another guy we should have a few hundred blanks coming our way in a few different types!

I've googled, talked, searched, and haven't been able to come up with anything yet. I know I'm getting robbed by buying them for 20 bucks or more, and still not getting the perfect blank. I'm going to figure it out sooner or later. Nice work Eric_Kruger for figuring it out. I envy you.
