Guest
personally I think that they are heading south. I have been having great goose hunting and knew what lake they have been holding in before they came to the fields and low they are gone as of today. Didn't see much this morning. Flick
There's a ton in the east metro, there was about 750 that flew over my house this evening and they went down in a pond not far away. They'll be around for a while as long as the lakes don't ice up.
Guest
On the way to the store today, driving in the Elk River area, I had a small flock of about 12 snow geese fly over my truck, about 25 yards up off the ground.I couldn't hardly believe it, and wouldn't have if I didn't see it with my own eyes. They were not pelicans, or terns/seagulls,but definitely snows, with a few other Canadas close behind them. I was suprised to see them this far east.
