muskylureguyneedsmusky
Went out musky fishin last night. I didnt catch one but the night wasnt a waste. A friend of mine picked up a 33 inch northern while we were trollin and just as we were heading in, i had a big hit, i tried to set the hook but came up short. It was still a nice night on the water. Ill get the 1st one someday!

muskyman73
My biggest is a 57 incher on LOTW in Stony back in 97. I got her just as the sun was going down and she hit boatside and towed us for quite a while while doing arial jumps and cart wheels. Never had a fish do some of the things this fish did. When I got her boatside I could not believe my eyes. The thickest fish I had ever seen. The following year in the same spot we had a giant muskie tow our boat while having one of our walleyes in it's mouth like a dog bone. When I looked down, I'd swear it was the same fish !! Joe Fittante Taxidermy is doing the replica on her, should be done this fall.
690VS
halftofish, I like the south end and i like the rocks the best but there's fish in the weeds and when there on that's where i'll be. I also fish the north end i just don't know it as well as i do the south end. A jackpot is my favorite bait on Mille lacs but i will throw other baits if i think i need to. Keep throwing that jackpot one of those big girls will come up and eat just don't pull it away from her because it's easy to do. Good luck.
