superfish2
Well I fished hard yesterday at tonka. Fished cedar, breezy, gibson, fergurson, and the point off of the east side of big island, the markers in smiths, bracketts, and all around spirt island and a half hearted attempt at horseshoe right before leaving. No muskies caught, follows, or even spotted.Tossed mostly smaller bucktails (white, and orange and black) a crankbait, and a white and black crane bait. I was a frustrated muskie fisherman coming off the lake yesterday. But I still had a good time. Caught a few northens and bass, the largest fish was a 6lb northen. markkstanley
I hear ya. I've been out three nights this week on the west end of Tonka and only northerns to show for it. I tried inside edge, outside edge and over the top of the weeds. Bucktails, cranks, spinnerbaits, and even topwaters. Haven't seen one. Most unusual but it is only a matter of time. Father's day = two days of fishing with no honey-dos!!
