Ryan_V
My creek/river is very low this year and I don't think carp can get up. Thats the only place I've bow fished. If it doesn't fill up (does not look good for that), where should I look to throw some arrows?
No_Net
I'm guessing you don't have boat if you,ve only have shot a creek. The best thing I can think of is trying to find a deep hole that might still have some fish in it from last year or trying to find a new creek. I would start by checking off of briges or below darns. Also I would check inlets or outlets to lakes. At the right time they can stack up with carp. Trying to wade the shallows on lakes may work to, but I don't know if it would be easy enough to sneak up on them that way. I Usally shoot the hutch area a few times a year and always looking for new people to shoot with. If you want to join me a time or 2 I'd be happy to take you out at night on a area lake. Gordie
I have seen guys taking carp with a bow on Swan Lake north of Hutchculvert and creek to shoot by the road. or If you have a boat go to the south end of the lake they stick a few over there also.
