Any other FM'ers get a DNR Bass Survey?

Just wondering... Much like the walleye, pike and musky surveys there are a lot of items in there related to future management of the species. Initial cards went out about a month or so ago and the full fledged survey arrived yesterday... Just curious.

I received a card about a month ago simple asking if I bass fished in MN. And if I would participate in a survey or something like that.

CAMAN, It was a random selection to begin with of several thousand licensed anglers... Then from those positive bass anglers, a subset of 400 were sent the complete survey... This is to be compared with an additional 400 randomly selected license holders to get the survey.

Hope this helps understand the process.

they probably didn't draw you because you are a multi species guy.... after all look at that sissy boat you have...lol sorry

Thank You SH, I was thinking maybe I was missing out on something since I don't remember ever being asked what species I target by the MNDNR.

river pro hasn't delivered my boat yet so my two feet until KT starts giving boats away.... I know where one is parked up in St Cloud though.... might go hook that one up to my truck. Actually i sold my little tuffy over the winter, I got out all of 3-5 times in it last year and none this ice season, and next summer is looking far worse for time, so I am even worse than a Multi Species guy, I wouldn't even consider myself a fisherman at this point.... sad
