shimano reels

hey guys ive got a chance to buy some shimano equipment at cost to the company. ive alaways liked there spinning reels and now im looking to buy a new muskie reel is there one in particular i should look for.thanks in advance

Possibly one of the newer Calcutta's with the oversized gears, they would probably be the only shimano's big enough for muskie fishing. I believe they are the calcutta TE series, they are pretty costly though. Another option is to check out their saltwater line of calcutta's that would probably be the way to go. Check them out on the Cabela's HSOforum. Most of their other reels are fairly small, geared more towards bass and walleye.

Calcutta ct400's are excellent muskie reels.
This is the only muskie reel made by shimano I'd buy.

RUN, don't walk away from their Corsair line of reels. Seriously they are junk, and fall apart.
