Pelican Lake activity??

Looking to go out for a quick hunt this week (next to work) and am wondering if the activity has picked up on or near Pelican. I would have to hit the shore with chest waders as I don't have a boat, so hopefully the little bays stay ice free.

Any feedback would be appreciated.

I haven't hunted it since before deer opener, but drove by it on Sunday and did see a few coots around, but no ducks. This was on the east side where there is some walkin access. I usually don't see that many from the road though, so don't be deterred. I would think with the wind tonight and getting cooler that it would be worth a shot this week. Some of the spots on the east side do offer some pass shooting oppurtunites if the small bays are frozen, but the wind should keep them open.
