Doe Permit ?

Ok so I have also sent this ? to the DNR.

I am usually good at understanding license regulations but this one stumps me cause of the way it reads and maybe I am right. Not sure. But here it goes.

Per the regs book:

"If successful in the lottery, hunters can use there doe permit in either the firearms or muzzleloader season, provided they have a valid license for that season"

Now I applied for a doe permit for both firearm and muzzy but that reads if I get drawn for a permit in the muzzy season I can use it in the firearms season. That does not seem right to me. Am off on this. If that is the case why even apply for both seasons cause you should not get drawn for both.

That is the way I understand the rule. Why would you still apply for both seasons? Say you have x% chance with just the regular firearms license. Than it's possible for you to add on y% chance with the muzzy license. If y% is worth the extra $26 to you, than that is why someone would apply for a doe permit in the same area while buying both licenses.
