White Bear

Just wondering if anyone has fished White Bear this year. I have not been on it in a few years. What depth have you been fishing, is the water clarity still the same as it was 5 or 6 years ago? Any info would be awesome.

The water clarity is the same. The weeds are starting to get real thick right now. If you can find the cabbage in about 7-8' there will be bass. If you like to fish deeper, there are a few deep weed lines around the VFW and Mahtomedi beach that are giving up bass with texas rigged worms.

Thanks Bassman, I used to fish the lake a lot years ago, not so much in the last 5 or 6 years.

FYI: If you've not been there in a few years it is down about 4 feet. Ordway bar should be a couple feet deep but now it's above water and has 3 foot high weeds gowing on it.

Keep that in mind if you head out there and save a prop.
