jac714
I have a bit of a problem with my boat, the curved glass windshield on the drivers side shattered and the manufacturer tells me no replacement is available.I have discovered that the only option is to find a shop that can bend (curve) a piece of plexiglass to fit the frame. Does anyone have any experience with anything like this, if so any recomendations are welcome.
highlife4me
Have you tried looking for a used one or an aftermarket windshield? What kind of boat is it?

Valv
Which boat brand and model ? I used to have many, but not anymore. You can try to check with many dealers, they usually have some leftovers in the back. They ALL will say they don't have any, but they do (I used to buy from them), and they'll try to ask a fortune for it.Bending plexiglass is not advised, in my opinion, the surface will scratch much easier then opposite site, and you will notice the difference in a short time, besides you will have to find the right matching color.Did you buy the boat like that or it happened to yours ?Didn't you have insurance on the boat ? You might want to start a claim.
jac714
The deductible was greater than the 1st cost to repair estimate and I have changed insurance companies in the interim. The boat is a 1995 Starcraft Superfisherman 170. I have tried every starcraft dealer in the area as well as the manufacturer of the windshield (TaylorMade) with no luck. I am now into desperation territory.
