Deer herding up

Last night on my home from spearing I was heading south on 169 south of Mille Lacs about 17 miles and noticed a small herd of deer on a corn field on the west side of the road. No bone spoted as i stopped and glassed these deer I also took a pic but the zoom on my camera is not working so I dont know if it will be good enough to identify them as they were 150 yards off the hwy.

You can see a few of them. There were about 40 deer there

This was the afternoon before the big december white out storm...Watched them all run into a farm yard for that last weekend of muzzleloader. SW MN...bad pic!!

I saw the last 75 close up while they ran into the grove...and no horns!

on the way home around xmas i saw a few smaller herds probably 15-20 always a good sign when you see some of the big herds

elwood, I recognized your photo! We saw that exact same group while we were coming home from Lake of the Woods yesterday evening.
