Snowblower belts

I am replacing the belts on my Troybilt blower. The auger belt is a v belt while the drive belt has teeth. Some places sell each type of belt because they are different prices. One place sells the same belt for both the auger and drive for a lot less money. He said the teeth make the belt more flexible. He said the kevlar belts he sells are flexible enough without the teeth. Should I go with the teeth or without?

I just ordered a new belt for the thrower attachment to my ST 16 Sears tractor.

I could get a cheaper belt without the reinforced wrap and have gone that route before.

It didn't last as long as the better belt.

In your case if you have the option to pick a better quality belt that is what I'd do. Granted that your type setup isn't going to be as hard on belts as mine but to replace the belts isn't that easy to do either and of coarse they break when you need it most.
