WC14 Mooring Cover?

I'd appreciate a suggestion on how I can prevent my 14 ft. Lund from filling with water as it sits at my dock during the week.

I priced a mooring cover with tie-downs at $250.00 which seems reasonable, but it would be nice to not spend the dough.

I leave my 15hp Merc on it so pulling it out of the water and yanking the plug is prohibitive. I can't take the motor off the boat and haul it up the hill to store it every weekend either.

Did you ask around about a cheap used boat lift. Just crank it up and pull the plug.

Yeah, but they are either rusted out or too big....or too much dough...

How about an automatic bilge pump with the internal float . I think they are around 45.00 then no need for the cover.
