from the Stearns Morrison Enterprise there are permits availble; heres part of what it said; there were 20,110 licenses this year in 11 bear permit areas, but 5,144 remain for 7 of those areas;
this is the first year that bear permits will be available to anyone, whether or not they submitted a licence lottery app; Lou Cornicelli, DNR big game cord
