Walleye opener /St.Croix this Sat.

Hey...Anyone out there going to be on the St.Croix above the dam this Sat. fishing for Walleyes?

hey aftacrops where areyou going to put your boat in at? i think i am just going to stick up here. i am from forest lake. do you know how to get to franconia? i think its by rush city not sure thanks for the info

Fronconia is south of the taylors falls dam and north of Osceola on the MN side of the river. It is about a 1/4 mile south of HWY 8 on 95 I think it is. Look for fronconia trail and the public water landing sign. Get there early as it will fill up fast.

lund18prov...I will launch at the Lions Park access just north of Taylors Falls. Franconia is below the dam and I have never fished there because I usually do pretty good above it and there are not as much boats up there. Let me know if you are going to be up there Sat. and I will look for you. Good luck!

Think two or three times if you have a big rig and plan to put in at Franconia... Landing is much better suited for canoes and small boats. VERY limited parking!
