The Duluth Sail and Power Squadron is having their annual fishing contest this Saturday (June 12) from 6am to 4pm. Tourney headquarters is at the Power Squadron Dock in Allouez bay. (44th ave East and the St. Louis Bay) $15 a person or free for kids 15 and under. Awards for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd in four divisions: Lake Trout, Walleye, Chinook Salmon, Coho Salmon.

The Captains Platter award is for the boat with the greatest combined weight of the largest of each species listed. You do not have to have all 4 species to be eligable, it is possible to win with only one fish.

Tickets and rules availble at Marine General, Bait Box, Chalstrom's, Fisherman's Corner, Northwest Outlet, The Bears Den.
