any action on any lakes yet?? or lil too early yet?

Still a little too early. I tried both of the channels on Yellow Lake(Jefffrie's and the South Channel), and also the bay in front of Yellow Lake Lodge last weekend a didn't get anything. Tons and tons of minnows and baby perch in each of them though. And they haven't raised the lake yet, so the channels are very shallow.

Anyone else see the huge clouds of these over the weed flats late last summer/fall? Way more than I've ever seen. May make for some slow fishing this upcoming season.

How's Yellow doing any action on the crappies yet? My father has a place on the channel can't wait to get out there...
