saunasisu
The Two Harbors Walleye fishing league are looking for interested boats/teams to join the league. We will be meeting in the next week or so. This league is basically a catch and release league. Each boat can submit up to 6 fish (within regulations). The entry fee is roughly $250.00 per boat, for 9-10 weeks of fishing. We primarily fish the Duluth/Brimson area lakes as well as the St. Louis River (2 times). Our league operates on tuesday nights, and fishing hours are generally from 6-9 pm.(with the exception of a couple of nights we fish 7-10 pm). We have 1 saturday event,(at a larger body of water such as Winnie, Vermillon, Birch)For more information, let me knowSteve
saunasisu
I forgot to mention that we have weekly payouts for most points each night as well as payouts for the top 3 boats at the end of the season.Points are awarded per fish: 1 point per inch over the minimum size of 13 inches. 1 point per measured fish returned to the lake alive and 5 points awarded to the boat registering the biggest fish of the night. Also, 1 point will be awarded per person that shows up to fish that night.
saunasisu
Meeting tonight at the Am. Legion in Two Harbors, 7:00. Looks like we will have 9 boats this year, hoping for a few more teams to throw into the mix. League is a great excuse for some to get out and fish, plus, you know you have to pre-fish the night before. Happy fishing!
