taxmancommeth
Thanks everyone for a great time. Only problem I have is that now we have to wait a month for the next event. See you all in June.
Lunker
Yea, the event was lots of fun. The morning was a bit chilly but the weather looked up for the afternoon. That 4lb smallie was quite a beast, only one like it for the day too, good job W Wackers! We fished some backwaters and rip rap in the morning with little success besides one lost fish. Ended up catching all of our fish from the four wingdams just upstream of the marina we launched at. Caught 2 smallies and a sheepie in the am, about 6 smallies, that pike and a buffalo in the afternoon. Pike came on a frenzy crank, all the bass came with jig/minnow jig/leech combo and one on a a senko. Can't wait until the next one, new lake for us, and we'll have a new boat too. See ya'll later. Dan Wood
Lunker,I sent out an email to everyone with the info. I had one email returned that I think must have been yours 74 instead of 79. I re-sent the email to you.You can launch at either West or East Rush. The tournament headquarters will be on West Rush. There will be FM banners up Saturday a.m. There are 4 teams as of now that are planning to camp out Saturday night - I think most planning on fishing Saturday. I have you and your brother as a maybe.
