New portable regs

you only need to license anything that you will pull on a public road. I'm assuming by "otter trailer", you mean your portable, and if that's the case, no you don't need to license it. you also don't need to license a yard cart....as long as you don't pull it on the road!! Your post is kinda vague, might want to clairfy it.

Yes, I don’t quite understand what you are asking.

I’m pretty sure that a fish house that is on wheels, needs a trailer license (DMV) and also a permanent shelter license (DNR).

Portables don’t need any type of licensing. Unless of you plan to leave them unattended on the ice overnight, then you need a permanent shelter license.

Any kind of fishhouse (portable, wheelhouse, or permanent) do not require a DNR license unless you leave it unattended overnight.

Wheelhouses do require some sort of DMV license if you intend road use.

You need to visit a DMV with the specifications of your wheel house.

There are some cases where you can get a life time sticker on the smaller wheelhouses where the larger shacks will need a title and yearly sticker. Note that some of the older, larger shacks need some sort of a brake system (and other upgrades, lights, etc.) installed before you get the DMV license issued.

I believe (?) the DNR can site you for DMV violations (i.e. they can nail you for DWI on the wheeler or sled.
