    Kessel is Gone

I saw the news this AM as well. Sorry Gopher fans. I'd rather see him play in the WCHA instead of the AHL if that's where he ends up. I feel sorry for him going to Boston, but maybe with the new regime things will change for the franchise. I guess this helps my 'Dogs though. Rolly
  2. I just did a search to see if you've been on here at all, and there you were. You can't get HBO with cable?? Anyhows, give me a call for Mo's # if you don't have it. I think he's got some GPS coordinates that he marked up there for Muskie spots. Who's going up there?
  3. I bow hunted two years ago in CO, and all I needed was the MN firearms safety cert.
  4. Chamberlain Narrows, you meat head. Also, MO will be able to tell you where to go. Call me and I'll give you his number. Did you see Deadwood the other night?
  5. Take the .308 now and make it known you will move into the .06 in a few years.
  6. I'm in the same boat Sarge. If don't see anything better on this site, I think I'll inject and deep-fry.
  7. You're right on Cliffy 5 x draw weight. Just make sure you adhere to different States' regulations for minimum arrow weight if you decide to hunt out of State.
  8. We used to fish Harmon which is in the Ignace area as well. It was fun walleye fishing. Standing in the river and casting into the current. A walleye almost every cast. Not much size, but fun. Rolly
  9. From Deception we've always gone up to Bear Narrows or Sen Bay. Out of necessity (weather), we have found some good fishing closer to Deception, but they're a little harder to find. Rolly
  10. We've stayed at Frog Rapids Camp at least once a summer for the last 25 years and have always had a great experience. The only downfall is the trailering and boat ride. We have also done houseboats and is by far the best way to go. Just depends on the pocketbook. Rolly
  11. Good lookin' weapon. I hoped you named it Rusty because of the color, otherwise, the warranty should cover that.
  12. Too much, too soon. Are you guys brothers? I'm going to wiggle it at 'em Joe! Good crowd out there tonight boys, let's really try to win this one. This young man has had a very trying rookie season, with the litigation, the notoriety, his subsequent deportation to Canada and that country's refusal to accept him, I guess that's more than most 21-year-olds can handle.
  13. An Allegiance (bow only) is priced at $699 retail and I've seen some nice packages as high as $1,000. I'm for the adage of having a back up bow, too. Rolly

    Too high ph?

I'm not sure Cooter, but I think you can have soil that is too basic for certain species. How does lime store? You could keep the extra somewhere and use it on future food plots perhaps?
  15. Get a new one. Will she be able to tell the difference? Just hide or throw out any new packaging so she doesn't notice. If you got a new PSE, she'd really have trouble telling the difference between the new and old.
  16. This is the start of a great post. We have some clearings on our property that would be great for small food plots. They are covered with wild grasses that we keep mowed down. How easy is it to plant something in an area like this? Can you use one of those disks that you pull behind a four wheeler and then seed? I hope I'm not jacking this thread, it's kind of along the same line.

    CVA Kodiak

Lunker Do you measure a powder charge or use the pellets? I haven't shot mine yet, but I have the pellets and the powerbelt bullets and I'm just wondering what I should expect. Did you start at 25 yds? Clean every shot? Etc., etc. Thanks for any info. Rolly
  18. It's about time someone slapped some sense into this post. Hockey it is. I'm hoping for an all WCHA final and a multi OT game in the final. I could never pull for UW, so the Sioux it is.

    CVA Kodiak

I bought one in the black/stainless .45 cal. a couple years ago. I have yet to fire it. I plan to break it in soon, I'll let you know. The reason I bought it was exactly what you posted. Inexpensive and shoots just as good as more expensive brands.
  20. That guy that slides into the big mug of beer when the Brewers hit a homer is funny.
  21. Ooops, sorry guys. Don't go below the min. rec. weight. Rolly
  22. A good place to start is the arrow manufacturing websites. They will give you all the info on the arrows you need. Then its just a matter of tinkering to find the one that works best for you. Just make sure you don't go below the bow manufacturers minimum recommended arrow weight. Rolly
  23. Just a little honest ribbing, and I was impressed with your prediction. I still think back to that "best program in the country" statement. I agree for the most part with the "every kid wants to play there" statement, I guess it just doesn't pertain to goalies. Who do we root for now? I could never pull for the Badgers, it looks like it's go Sioux and Tigers. What do you think Raj, my siamese twin? How was the fishin' pier? Rolly
  24. You think last weeks performance might have had something to do with the way they played? No, probably not, those games last week didn't mean anything.

    Predictions?

I really don't know much about most of these teams, but I thought it would be cool to have a office pool of sorts on the tourney.
