Thinking of heading up around Aitken?????

Recommended Posts

Just wondering if there was much for public land around there. Kinda want to go up and bow hunt in the morning and then walk around and chase grouse then go back to the stand for the afternoon. Any reply would be great. Just some general area where there might be a little bit of ground to hunt. Thanks in advance. Tim

I think there is about 50 to 55% of aitkin county that is public land. I hunt a lot NE of aitkin. Get yourself a plot book of aitkin county. Call the court house and they will tell you how to get one.

Thanks, Scotty
