has anyone ice fished on shoal lake this year

I was out there yesterday Scott. Went after whitefish. Did very well. Shoal lake is closed to walleye fishing but there is good pike, bass, perch and whitefish to be had. Access is gained by road through Clytie Bay from the Rush Bay Road off of the Trans Canada Highway west out of Kenora(30 minute ride on gravel road). Good crappie fishing on the way in as well. Access to Lake of the Woods is available from this road also.
