Fullmoon
Anyone fish these? Pricey but was wondering how the tungsten feels and if it gets down much faster. Hard to believe it would but the difference in weight vs size might be nice. Prices haven't seemed to go up over the last 3 yrs or so. Just wondering. Otis1
I have a few different kinds. They do get down faster, for their smaller size. The only problem that I have experienced is the hooks, although very sharp, are a little brittle. They definately do catch fish!

Dark Cloud
They sink noticably better than lead - worth the money in deep water. I switched over to tungsten for all my bead headed flies too...

Fullmoon
That should work similar to the wire wrapped flie or ant. Only seen them in an article and wouldn't try my hand at it. Who's the source for the bead headed flies, if you don't mind. I'll get the stupid sig. right yet. Darn fingers won't type what my brain thinks! Dark Cloud
Moon - Any better fly shop with have tung beadheads. On-line cabelas has a big selection. Alot heavier than just wire wrapped. I wire wrap and tung head some of my patterns...

Fullmoon
Shapes, colors and sizes. They catch more fishermen than fish I imagine. Got me a few and ordered a few more. Spent part of the day going through stuff I fogot I had! I've got more than I need. Had a good relationship with several of the companies, still do too. A lot of the out of state guys that don't have huge deals with the box stores like a little guy who deals with REAL ice fishermen. So I bought more than needed and now I've got lots. Makes choosing tough sometimes. Hey, I can keep myself occupied on a slow day just changing one to another. I've always got some to share if a bites on and I don't worry if a kid or newbie I took along snaps off a few. There a plenty I don't have that I want too. It's an illness!!Ray
