Dogtooth in 07?

I didnt see much on here from the guys who go too Dogtooth. I was just thinking we are half way around the calender too our trip again and was wondering how everyone did on their trips last year. A guy caught a 33 1/2" the week we were there.

Eight of us fished it for three days towards the end of August, and had to work hard for the fish.We caught several eater size fish and released probably 10 fish over 20" with the biggest fish being 28 1/2" right at 9 lbs. The water level was lower than normal and the fish were not on the reefs like they normally are at that time. We stayed at the remote outpost cabin and were very happy with everything. We booked for 2008 before we left the resort.

How low was the water? Funny thing, we go the week of Memorial day and for the first time ever the fish were already on the reefs when we were there.

I was up there the third week of augest and did pretty well. Three of us caught 82 walleyes in three days. The biggest was 29 inches. We caught all are fish on the reefs in about 25ft of water. Going back up there again this summer for the 14th year in a row.
