Hey there Fishermann222,

You don't know me but last year I had a blast reading and seeing your wonderful pictures from up there. Are you still up there? When does trapping season begin? I just loved seeing those pictures with the fantastic landscapes in the background.

Reefrunner I am still up here. I am in Bethel Alaska now, i am no longer on Nunivak. I will still get a few reds but not like last year. THis year I am going to focus on getting marten, red fox, a few lynx, and my goal is to get at least one wolf and wolverine. ALL new trapping ground for me though so who knows what will happen. I will be traveling about 70 miles by snowmachine one way to get to my line. I will do a little writeup about it here in the next week or so.

I also enjoy your posts as it brings back my AK memories. I wasn't in the bush but I've spent several winters in Seward. You know you are not a tourist anymore when you call it a snowmachine and not a snowmobile. I had a friend spend a couple years in Aniak and he loved that area. Enjoy!
