new pheasant hunter ... where to go around new ulm area?

im headed out friday for new ulm area ... any suggestions for public land would be great!

I was just west of new ulm this morning on state land with a friend of mine. We got 4 birds in just over an hour and a half. I was shocked to find the birds in the heavy cover with the mild weather. We saw more roosters than hens which is not that common for me. All but one were very young birds. My 15 month old lab did a fantastic job also
