Ghost River

Has anyone had any experinces with the Ghost River lodge? Does it copare to fly-in trips? Any info would be appreciated. Thanks

Average at best is my opinion and not close to any fly in. My fly in has always been to northern manitoba - God's River lodge. Ghost River is a decent camp but the fishing is average for that part of ontario. You will have a good time but that can be had many places.

Thanks for the post Footdoc. I think we are leaning towards a fly-in trip that takes off from Red Lake Northern Ontario. I might look in to God's river as well being it come reccommended.

Who are using in Red Lake?

We were looking at using Canadian Fly-in Fishing. They have about ten different outposts on all different lakes. Looks like the their main lake is Jeanette. Do you have any experinces flying out of red lake?

We use Howey Bay Resort's outposts every August. I would recomend them to anyone, but that being said , I don't think you can go wrong with anyone up there. It spoils you for fishing in Minnesota and throw in the moose, wolves, otters bears etc and you won't want to leave.

There is another outfitter on Jeannete Lake as well, better rates and just as good of service. Kabeelo Lodge & Outposts. Worth checking them out anyway and seeing what you think.
