JRFISHBAIT Posted February 3, 2007 Share Posted February 3, 2007 As a reminder to all, if you're having problems with your heaters in this cold weather, check your propane tanks. In cold weather, you need to keep your tanks full or there's not enough pressure to vaporize the gas. So even if your tank is half full, you may need to top it off so it will keep the pressure up and allow the gas to vaporize. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I had that problem where we stayed overnight in the house and when we got up in the morning, the tank was 1/3 full, but we didnt have any heat in the house. Wade Joseph Posted February 4, 2007 Share Posted February 4, 2007 Its actually a temprature and pressure function. I believe its -26 degrees the liquid quits vaporizing to gas.
