We were up on lake kabetogama 3 years ago and my youngest son was catching all the walleyes with a scooby doo rod. he caught more fish than any one else with that pathetic fishing rod. He lost it on pike lake(or in actually)

$10 pole vs. $100 pole- I would take the $10 one, except it might look weird in a tournament using it.
