12 volt plug wiring question

Hey guys, I need your opinions. I will be installing a 12 volt plug to be used for powering such things as a spot light, GPS, etc. I will be wiring this directly to the fuse panel. What gauge wire should I use? Thanks in advance for your help.

Mudock--14 ga. wire will be plenty heavy enough. If you need to run accessories with heavier wire than this, they should be wired directly to the battery or a designated fuse block. Most of your plug-in accessories are fairly low draw and have light ga. wire on them anyway. Make sure you fuse it properly for the appliances you are using. Greg
