Capt'nJosh
I am looking for a good filet knife that will keep its edge. Any suggestions?
0 Capt'nJosh
I'd be up for that. May I suggest a knife sharpening class around the campfire at the first LETS weekend??? We could all sit around drinking our favorite beverages and play with sharp objects!! BTW - I went to the home and garden show last night and there was a lady there selling Cutco. $55 for the filet knife... I thought that was a pretty good deal, but the wife decided it was a too much to spend on a knife right now... I knew I should have left her at home
0 nunzio
There should also be a seminar on the use of an electric fillet knife...After watching some guys at the fish cleaning shack use one I went and bought one...What a mess I made of my fish!!! I haven't used it since... I have no feel for the backbone... On the other hand I do have several blades and have come to the same conclusion as a previous poster --- Stick with the cheap Rapala's because of the flexibility and ease of sharpening.. Also you are not out much when they become missed placed, like in a buddies sheath????? - nunzio
