What models are you talking about eh? I use a 2004 DeMarini F2. I have swung Miken's Freak 98 and Ultra II and it's a different feel but will provide more distance than the F2. The Miken Freak 98 is more comparable to the DeMarini F2. The F2 and Rayzor are exceptional bats for singles and doubles hitters. Just my .02 cents

I have used an older demarini and miken, but have never swung a newer one. Just trying to decide which one to get now. Our team of course wants more distance.

The Freak 98 is the only Miken that was an ASA approved bat for 2005. The DeMarini F2 is legal so make sure you are in accordance with ASA rules if it's an ASA league you play in.

In Minnesota we have many USSSA softball leagues so check their rules also.
