bobO
I was wonder if i could get my 2 man fish trap in my wifes honda accord? With the gas prices right now it this might be the only way i can go fishing.
Eric Wettschreck
Doubt it, but you can try. It will fit on the roof, however.
FL SNIPER
just punch a hole in the floor of the accord and fish in there....it would make hole hopping easier.
PierBridge
Quote:. It will fit on the roof, however. I did that a few times for day trips to Mille Lacs and other places worked great I had a trailer hitch so I ran 2 straps from the hitch you could use the trunk to the tow eyelets on the front of the car below the bumber and then another strap or rope through the rear wing window and if you want another through the front window. You could get by with just the straps/rope through the windows I did not want my stuff flying off the vehicle at high speed like I've done in the past. I did not have a car top carrier so mine sat on the roof and it did sctatch it up a little.Re-check the straps/rope often as they will loosen up..Sure miss the gas mileage in that old Honda. bobO
pigsyeah that is s good idea, I just have to figure out how to get the seat down. I put the key in the lock that locks the seat in place but it won't turn, so im not sure if there is somthing wrong with the lock.
picksbigwagon
My old honda used to do that too, I opened the trunk and manually released the lock from the trunk. open the lock and push the bench forward, is it a 2 door or 4 door? I am pretty sure you can get it in a 4 door......measure heighth first, because you might get it wedged half way nd It's PICKS big wagon as in my fat rear end, only my wife calls me a pig I just checked the depth on the guide, 20", she might wedge on ya, but if you have two people you might be able to get it in there, let me know if you do

picksbigwagon
that stinks, maybe you can find a fishing partner with a truck and doesn't mind paying for gas.......and monkeys might fly out or your
bobO
'You will pay gas money', is what my fishing buddy tells me.I have a truck but its really hard on the gas. So I thought I could start fishing out of the car for longer trips.
