Ole #1
I was just looking through the regs and I can't find out if there is a season for rock bass. You might be thinking "hmmmm...who cares" but I caught one on Mille Lacs last week that was between 12 and 13 inches. I just saw that the state record was 12.6 inches and I'm kicking myself for not bringing the fish to the dnr to check. But if it's with the bass season, then I wouyldn't have been able to keep it. Any know for sure? I'll probably call a CO to find out, but I might have released the state record rock bass.

2dalake
I'll bet I've busted that state record three or four times.
LocalGuide
Its a continuous season on them buggers! I would also guess I have had a few over 12" too. Last year I had one that was exactly 12" and it was huge. I weighed it and it was a little short of the state record so I know I have a little ways to go yet.
