97 polaris 440xc shock line

my xc has the adjustable rear front shock and the line wore threw,can a person get just the fitting that connects to the shock or do you have to buy the whole line,and is this a oil or gas shock,i believe it is oil but not sure,and do i have to take it to a dealer to get it filled

where did it rub through?

I rebuild shocks and can get parts for those for alot less than the dealer. I think I am pretty close to you, Monticello Right?

down bye the shock,would need the piece that connects to the shock,the rest of the line is long enough,if you can get the fitting that connects to the shock and crimp it into the line

If it is the crimp that wore through you will need a new hose (about $50). If it was the 90 degree fitting after the crimp about $5

where do i get the hose for 50 bucks,it is before the crimp,wasnt sure if you could get the crimp on fitting and have someone crimp it on
