I was thinking about fishing this lake this winter, but I have never fished it before. Any information on the lake would be greatly appreciated.

I have fished the lake numerous times over the past 3 years. I really like the lake when they are biting but find that they do not always cooperate. the crappies are huge. and the walleyes seem to average about 3 lbs. Also alot of northerns. The water is stained and only app. 14 feet deep. 2 years ago we limited on crappies and eyes on a 3 day stay on the lake. since then it has been slow for us
