I have this older (I believe it's from the '70s) 15' aluminum boat with a nice 25hp Evinrude outboard, tiller, pull start. It is a deep V with tall sides, it has a Bottomline fishfinder, 2 sweavel seats, casting deck, good trailer, good solid floor, no leaks, motor starts, shifts, and runs good. She's not a show winner, but it will catch fish just like any other newer ones.

It is a ready to fish package, nothing to fix (unless you want to make it pretty).
I am asking $ 1,800/obo, and I will let anybody choose from many accessories, including boat paint I have here at no extra charge.
Boat is located in Faribault area, can be tested in water anytime.

Have you noticed I mentioned OBO after price.

We can make a deal on it.
Remember this one catches same fish as a new $ 30,000 one ....

Sarge,

I don't know year of motor, but looks early '70s

What kind of questions are you asking ? Of course I won't be here saturday, I'll be fishing (first time in 4 months), but sunday I will be here. wink.gif

First $ 1,200 will take it home.

Would you be interested in selling the boat and trailer for 300.00? I could maybe afford the motor later, but would like to start with that for now if your interested.

Boat and trailer have been sold, motor is still here.
25hp long shaft Evinrude, pull start, tiller w. gas can + hose. Runs very well.
Any offer above $ 650 and it's yours, first come first served

Paul, thank you for your visit, it is always nice meeting people from FM.
I felt embarassed since my yard is such a mess, but I'll get it straightened out.

Valv,

No need to be embarrassed. We felt like kids in a candy store looking through all of the goodies. smile.gif

Nice to meet you also and remember if you get any more of those Lund Bimini tops please let me know.

If you ever decide to have that big sale, I want to be one of the first to know.

Paul guess what ? I will be in new York Mills thursday and I will bring home approx 100 bimini tops + accessories (probably side+back+window curtains).

I'll email you when I'll know what I have.
I the meantime make me an offer for it (I know how much they are at dealer, but you don't know how much I sell them for ... wink.gif )

Navigator, it can be converted, it has the extension for long shaft, this means driveshaft has an extension inside housing.

    • My kid was eating in Beverly Hills and ran into this guy. Talked to him a bit and wished him luck in the game tonight.
    • 🤔as a recovering machinist!🤣🤣that must make me a recovering welder!
    • As a recovering machinist, I can appreciate that.  If the spec is 0.001 - 0.0015, then clearly the correct measurement is 0.00125, duh…
    • I just figured that it is easy enough to just get a 3 bank so when the boat is not in use I can keep all 3 batteries charged. I have not bough a charger yet, maybe I will give it some more thought. Edit: After thinking this over, with the size, weight, and heat output of the charger (as well as the cost) I think it makes sense to just buy a 2 bank charger, I have a smaller charger i can use on the starting battery when the boat is sitting at home. Forgive me, for i am a retired engineer and I have to obsess over everything...
    • Congrats on the motor!  I think you’ll like it.   I can’t say much on the charger location but I’ve seen them under the lid in back compartments and under center rod lockers.  160 degrees is more than I expected to hear.   Curious why you’re opting for a 3 bank charger with a 24V trolling motor.  Unless you don’t feel you be running you big motor enough to keep that battery up as well?
    • I did buy an Minnkota Ulterra, thanks for the recommendations. I had a bunch of Cabela"s bucks saved up, which helped. Now i need to get an onboard battery charger. Where do you guys mount these things in your boat? The manufacturer I am looking at {Noco genius) says tht their 3-bank charger will run at 160 degrees, seems like a lot of heat in an enclosed compartment? Thanks for any input on this.
    • You're very lucky a troop of Sea Monkey's didn't carry you away.
    • Wasn't terrible at a state park beach. Antelope island maybe.  I wouldn't recommend it as a beach destination tho.  Figured I was there, I'm getting in it.
