Jim Uran
In a new location as you all know, I haven't got a chance, well but one chance to chase my beloved panfish over here but it will happen! The lakes around here are different, they get about 30' deeper than I'm used to, how does that play a part in their early winter travels. Should I be looking deeper, back home the basins topped out at 30', around here they top out at 50-60'. How big of a difference does that play in where I should be looking for basin crappies... always learning.
Borch
What I've found on those lakes is that crappies are rarely in the deepest basins, (however they can be suspended in them). I often find them in 20-35 fow. Sunfish can be in the weeds or deeper flats near those weedbeds. There are some gems in your new area.
