Sure would be a great summer trip if I had the time and resources! Maybe some day something like that. But, I do know my 7th grade science teacher and a buddy started in Itasca and took there canoe all the way to the Gulf. They camped the whole way, met many locals very interested on there trip. grilled frogs in the baiou and had a blast!

i did a google search for dave krantz and came across a local (to him) news station that did a story about him and they had a couple minute video up interviewing him. its pretty cool. he is definitely completed and done with the trip
