Jeff Dosch
Perch fishing the last couple of days has picked up again. Perch are moving into the deeper mud flats now and are starting to concentrate into large schools. There's not a lot of fishermen out there so once you get on fish you have no problem staying on them. Best lures have been dropper rigs with genz worms and ratso and rat finkys tipped with spikes or wax worms. Best bite times have been early morning and late afternoon. Best walleye action has been in shallow water (10-15ft) and the best bite has been from a half hour before dark until an hour after dark.
