what side of the house is the proposed room gonna be on? We put sliders in a buddys house cuz they were cheaper, 5 yrs later he ended up replacing them due to air leakage. had to put plastic on inside in winter. Casement windows in my opinion have the best seal (wind blowing against them closes tighter) . Double hungs good too, don't want to put in windows you're gonna regret in years to come.

Do what eyeguy said replace any other questionable areas and cover up with a metal fascia wrap. never have to worry again, a buyer might see that as a plus too.

Trying to install a new helix7di on boat, directions say to mount transducer on the right side, but my trolling motor is on that side. can I mount it on the left side with no pr4oblems any help appriciated

Thanks for the advice, that's kinda what we thought we needed to switch to natural casings. do you guys use hog for breakfast links, hot dogs, and brats? thanks again. What do u guys use to cut the twists to make your packages, do they stay twisted then? We just started making our own stuff this year, trying to learn some tricks from you veterans

If its an older gun I would use a mod, but the super x pump and sx3 made by Winchester the manual says use a improved with steel, shoots steel shot like a mod. -

thinking about going in early Sep. Haven't been there since I was a kid. Looking for advice on which sites will be close to the lake, river, ect. We will be using our ice castle rv unit so we will want elec. thanks in advance.

What do you plan on foaming? I tried the froth pac from menards to foam ceiling in fish house, worked like dump, had it at the recommended temp on tanks and didn't work I would let the pros do it lot less headache in the end. Good thing they did refund all my money.

Also 1 layer or 2. Is it a old house,is there cedar shakes under. Was it roofed lately? Rot in certain areas ? Is there valleys or is it a straight run?

whats the roofs pitch? That has a lot to do with the cost.

I'd put 2" Styrofoam (blue or pink) glued to block then frame 2x4 walls. Use green plate and get the nails for green treated wood. Use regular nails for the white wood. Check with local building official to see if they would like to see a vapor barrier. Personally think this is better than using fiberglass batts.
