  1. I have more fun fishing in the fall than any other time. It's cooler, changing leaves are beautiful, lakes and rivers are less crowded, and I might catch a fish or two. For me it's all about being there ... but I mainly muskie fish. I agree with the early and late suggestions. I fish Minnetonka once in a while, and it's best to get off before 10:00 am. After that everything but the Queen Mary is out there. Good Luck, Nick
  2. Quote: That didn't take long. I should know better than to make such sweeping statements. I just think it is a joke what some people feel they deserve when so many have nothing. I guess it is a good thing that the richest 1% enjoy 90% of the wealth. Political statement?
  3. I have the local sheriff, DNR, State Patrol, and TIP all programed in my cell for the cabin area I. Only had to call the Sheriff once for a jet ski buzzing us on purpose. I know it was on purpose because he did it 6 times, and was also caught by the Sheriff ... running after dark. ( (Contact Us Please) ) Some peoples kids... although this guy was in his thirties. Nick
  4. The 1775 I have now is my first tiller. I always had consoles. But,,, after fishing this boat I really don't know if I would go back to a console. I fish Leech quite a bit and this boat handles itself very well. I Can't comment on the other rigs your looking at, but I like my Lund. Good Luck, Nick
  5. iffy was helping me with my TT not to long ago. Great guy. Good Luck, Nick
  6. Once you have the motor pulled ... check it to see if the shaft is turning in both directions when you engage tilt up and down. If it's still turning,,, it's something else. Nick
  7. My TT quit working on my 75 merc. I had the clicking but no lifting. I took the whole thing apart and found the pump had little pieces of plastic in the springs. The plastic was from the fill plug. Once everything was cleaned up and back together... worked great. Good Luck, NIck
  8. When you get your new one ... be sure to call your cable company and give them the new modems mac address. Nick
  9. I'd get another one. I have used Linksys for years and have been happy with the Linksys cable modem, and router. Good luck, Nick
  10. I found a warning module locally ... but $96! I didn't think I could find another hobby more expensive than amateur ( ham ) radio, I was wrong.
  11. How wet do they need to get to inflate? Some of these post sound like 'rain' will inflate them. Thanks, Nick
  12. Looks like I need a warning module. There is continuity between the two blue wires that should be attached to the sensor in the oil reservoir. Anyone have one to sell? Nick
  13. I finally had some time to pull out the shop manual. When I get home I'll take a look and see what was done with the two blue wires that are suppose to go to the sensor in the oil reservoir.
  14. I had pulled up on a sand bar after triming up motor, and was there 30 minutes when the low oil alarm started beeping. I can't see anything wrong. Could the sensor be bad. Looking for ideas. The motor is a 94 Merc 75. The oil injection was disabled years ago when it failed, and I have been mixing gas for years now with no problem. Thanks, Nick
  15. Quote: I doubt its an o ring, more likely to be a stuck valve. If you have your boat up by PR I could look at it for you. I have fixed many tt units. I'm pretty sure its nothing too serious. Send me your email or tel # if interested. I took the TT apart after talking to iffy and found plastic shaving from the fill plug stuck in the springs of the pump. cleaned it all up and it works great. Thanks again to iffy. Nick

Send me your email or tel # if interested. I have the unit pulled. I hooked it up to a battery and the motor runs but nothing moves. I'll be up in PR this Thursday. Send me your info so I can contact you. My e-mail is archer59@comcast.net Thanks, Nick
  17. Need suggestions on where to buy another unit or get my tilt and trim fixed. Thanks, Nick
  18. I had the boat out last week. Never took that long to start lifting. I just ran it for 30 seconds and nothing. Do you think I need to change out all the O rings? Nick
  19. OK... I pulled the tilt and trim and checked it with a battery. The motor runs but there is no movement from the piston up or down. Still looking for ideas or who should I take this to to get fixed? Thanks, Nick
  20. Tried to trim up the motor to get out of the driveway tonight and motor would not trim up. I can hear the tilt and trim motor running but nothing moves. I opened the manual release valve, pulled up the motor and tightened it up again. I checked the fluid level and seemed to be OK. I did notice the filler plug didn't have an O ring and didn't seam to seal very well. I was going to replace that and add the o ring. Anyone else have any ideas? Thanks, Nick
  21. Well if she doesn't like to fish ... do you want a second date???
  22. Quote: I know a guy who puts them in a mesh bag, and then tucks it in the back tank of the toilet. He says every flush is fresh water for the leeches. He keeps them for months at a time. He did say his wife made him put them in the "second" bathroom As off the wall as that sounds .. that would be a great idea at the cabin. The women don't like to move bait out of the way to get something out of the fridge. We need to keep them leeches on the beer shelf. Nevermind ... they'd still have to move em.
  23. You might try treating your sunburn from the inside ... with something like ..... Miller.
  24. $144 per aluminum section is cheap.
